Since opening in July 2006, Bayview Veterinary Centre has grown steadily and we have continued to invest by purchasing a new computer system to manage our records. We trust this new equipment will be a valuable asset with regard to the smooth and efficient running of the practice.
Other equipment installed over the last few months include a diagnostic ultrasound machine, which allows us to examine internal organs without invasive surgery and can be performed in the conscious or sedated patient. We have also now installed a small x-ray machine to enable investigations in smaller animals without needing to refer them to our associated surgeries. The full general surgery theatre is in place to deal with all routine surgery, as well as most emergencies, and includes a modern anaesthetic machine and post op hospitalization facilities. To deal with the heat of the summer, we have invested in an air conditioning unit for our reception area, to minimise stress and overheating for patients, owners and staff.
